My experience in Ikura was excellent. Food were unexpectedly good, very authentic and price was very reasonable too. Staff were super friendly and detail-minded by sending me bowls for my children without my request. Environment was awesome, just made me feel like I was really having my dinner in Japan. Worth to go again!

Dined in with friends. Everything was great; food, atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Highly recommend. We had sashimi and various other sushi, noodles as well as beer and sake. The food was excellent, freshly made and delicious. Can’t wait to go back. Recommend booking ahead.

Love this place. Have been going regularly since they opened. Clean and inviting restaurant. Food is fresh and cooked / prepared to order. Great sushi, sashimi and katsu curry. Good selection of drinks. And great value for what you get, especially in this day and age. Right in the middle of town with lots of parking nearby. Thanks to Zayla for always welcoming us with a smile. See you all again soon!

The people were very nice, they attended very well and the food was very good too. I will definitely be coming back for more. I had ramen, and I tasted full of flavour. My friend had katsu chicken curry, which was excellent too. Both of the meals were very filling and worth the money.

We dropped in on the weekend for the first time and were lucky to get a table as there was one left. Judging by how busy it was after we got there, I’d definitely recommend booking ahead so as not to be disappointed. The food was excellent, reasonably priced and the people were attentive and relaxed, which shows they know what they’re doing. There was a huge range of Japanese dishes and our youngest son was over the moon with his selection. My wife and I opted for the sushi and some katsu curry that was made to order and was delicious to eat. When the bill came we were very surprised, almost the same cost as from a supermarket, really reasonable. Thanks guys, we will be back soon for sure and have shared our experiences with the local community too. Matt & Sarah.
